Practioner Tips!

Tip of the day!

  • If it has been a while since your prosthetic fitting and you are beginning to feel excessive pressure, pain and a general feeling of being unstable, please call your prosthetist to schedule an appointment to evaluate your fit! If you wish to have BCS P&O evaluate your fit, we can schedule a time that works for you and we can see you at your Home, Therapy Appointment, or when your family or caregiver is available to to ensure everyone involved is aware of the treatment plan!

  • Immediately notify your prosthetist if your gel liners, sleeves and socks are wearing out. Cracked and worn suplies can lead to skin breakdown, pain and instability of your prosthesis and require immediate attention.
